Folk Music Society of Huntington
The folk music society presents a "First Saturdays" concert series, featuring regional, national and international folk artists. Musicians such as Tom Paxton and Cherish the Ladies have performed. The society also presents a "Hard Luck Cafe" series, which features local artists on the third Saturday of each month. Prior to each scheduled performance of both series, anyone can perform during open-mike time. Most First Saturday and Hard Luck Cafe concerts are held at the Congregational Church of Huntington, 30 Washington Dr., Centerport (near Huntington's eastern border, off Rte. 25A). more...
The Long Island Fall Festival
Admission is free to this four-day October festival in Heckscher Park presented by the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Huntington. Attractions include four stages of entertainment, a carnival, hundreds of arts and craft vendors, food courts, a farmer's market and a beer and wine tent.
