USA/New England: Old Saybrook, CT

Katharine Hepburn's Paradise

Meetings & Events

The area's crown jewel for memorable meetings, events and weddings is the Saybrook Point Inn & Spa. The inn sits at a marina next to the Long Island Sound and the mouth of the Connecticut River. Views are breathtaking, the facilities are world-class and the restaurant is superb. The inn aims to be a "green" meetings venue with numerous eco-friendly initiatives, including solar panels, water-recycling laundry equipment and water-efficient dishwashers and toilets.

There is more than 5,200 square feet of meeting space, including a 3,132-square-foot ballroom that can seat 260 people in a theater-style arrangement. The 700-square-foot Yale Room is located across the street from the main inn in a beautiful, eight-guest-room inn called Three Stories. Three Stories features unique common areas, bars, pool tables and a kitchen, and can accommodate all attendees of a small meeting or event. The newest adition at Saybrook Point is Tall Tales, a three-story, six-guest-room Italianate inn adjacent to Three Stories that's ideal for an intimate corporate getaway. It has a kitchen and a spacious common area on the first floor and a second-floor pool room that can convert to an attractive meeting room. Many of the rooms have spacious outdoor decks with views of Long Island Sound or the Connecticut River.
