The winery, known for its Doc's Draft Hard Apple Cider, bakes fresh bread and serves gourmet pizza, sandwiches and salads at its Pané Café. It's not run-of-the-mill fare. Pizzas include salmon and brie with asparagus and white sauce. Sandwiches include pork loin with homemade chutney and Asiago cheese. Open noon-5 p.m. Sat. and Sun. Located about six miles north of Wawayanda State Park, homes and buildings in this little-known town date to the 18th and 19th Centuries. Tour the oldest structure, the Shingle House, built in 1764, and the 1810 House, with its antique furniture and enticing herb garden. The town has quality shops, restaurants and a winery/distillery.
