From New York City and points east:
Go west on Route 80 or Route 46 to Route 23 north. Exit Route 23 north at Union Valley Road. Follow Union Valley Road for four miles until you reach a stop sign. Continue straight about ¾ mile and turn left before the ShopRite shopping center. (You are still on Union Valley Road.) Proceed two miles and then bear left at the Y junction (West Milford Florist is on your left) onto White Road. Continue 4/10 mile until you reach a stop sign. Proceed straight up the mountain road, Warwick Turnpike. Follow the road four miles and turn left into Wawayanda State Park.
