New Developments from Palm Springs

Greater Palm Springs is a year-round meeting and event destination, with and International Airport that’s home to 10 major airlines with connections to over 500 global cities. Here are juast a few of the latest meetings-related developments in the area:  
  • New Nonstop JetBlue Flights: From January 14 to May 1, JetBlue Airways will begin seasonal nonstop service between New York’s JFK Airport and Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) from Thursday to Monday.
  • Exclusive Deal: When planners make an appointment with a meetings professional, Greater Palm Springs pays for airfare and arranges a guided series of unique activities, accommodations and amenities that will best match each group’s needs.
  • Renovations and New Spaces: This summer, Renaissance Indian Wells unveiled pool upgrades and renovated meeting space, while La Quinta Resort & Club completed a multi-million-dollar restoration to guest casitas, villas and suites in fall 2015. In early 2016, the Westin Mission Hills debuts 3,000 square feet of new outdoor event space, following a $25 million property-wide rejuvenation in 2013, and later in the year, Andaz Palm Springs opens its doors with 25,000 square feet of desert contemporary-themed space, including boutique retail space, intimate indoor facilitates and private outdoor terraces.
