Getting Here

This experience is ideally suited to visitors to Manhattan who wish to get a taste of the the beautiful countryside outside of the city but who don’t have time to get to the real hink. In addition, walkers can extent or shorten their trip knowing that there’s a train stop not far away at any time for the return trip to Manhattan.

By Train

Trains leave and return to Manhattan every hour, seven days a week, except between after midnight and before 5 a.m. or so. Go to Metro-North Railroad for information on schedules and fares from Grand Central station. Fares are higher during rush hours. The trip is under 45 minutes, depending on whether you take a local, local express, or express train. The Hudson River views along the way make for a nice journey. Click here for a map of the Irvington Metro North station.
